Occupational Fire Safety Training

This training encompasses a range of topics, from understanding fire behavior and prevention to conducting fire drills and using fire safety equipment. The trainings includes Fire Chemistry and Physics, Fire Hazards, Fire Prevention, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems in tandem with Section 21 of the Fire Risk Reduction rules, 2007.
Occupational Work at Height Training

Occupational Confined Space Training
In tandem with OSHS Act, 2007. Specifically, Section 79 requires that no one enters a confined space without authorization and sufficient training on the associated hazards. At Mwomo the goal of the Confined Space Training is to ensure workers are trained to deal with confined space, non-entry rescues. In compliance with the obligation to ensure workers are trained and competent in this area so their workforce can reduce the risk of accidents.This training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to identify hazards, use safety equipment, and respond to emergencies, ultimately ensuring a safer work environment.
Occupational PTW (Permit to Work) Training

OSH Committee Training
This course equips Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) committee members with the necessary knowledge to identify workplace hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement safety measures. This is a DOSHS Prescribed training required under rule 12 of the factories and other places of work (safety Heath Committees) rule 2004 for OSH committees established under section 9 of OSH 2007. This structured training normally takes approximately 30 contact hours and is valid for 3 years. A safety and Healthy committee consulted under section 9 of OSHA 2007 should be subjected to this training within 6 months of the committee’s establishment.
Mwomo Health comprehensively provides various types of safety training to meet both legislative requirements and specific clientele needs. These trainings are provided at the client’s premises (in-house), or other identified training locations away from the workplace. We also offer open house training where participants from different workplaces are trained together.
